Monday Mornings

This morning was a long one. Last night Eric and I got to bed and fell right to sleep. We weren't even in pijamas yet. We woke up again at 10:50 and I asked Eric what time it was. He said "ten to one" and I was floored, and then when he corrected himself I felt just a little better about us. Then we fell asleep again and the next time we woke up it was five to one. Oh man. So we got up and went to the bathroom got a drink did all that and went back to bed.
Needless to say, Eric was not ready for this morning's alarm at 5:30am. The alarm on his phone (which is his sister-in-law's old phone) rings for one minute before it snoozes itself. Her selection of music on there consists only of one album of the Backstreet Boys and one of Dashboard Confessional. This morning we heard the first minute of this song play every 10 minutes from 5:30am to around I think 8:30am when Eric got up to start getting ready for school.

I liked this song a little, and now I dislike it a lot. I much preferred being woken up with a kiss and snuggle from my husband when we came back a little while later. I want to wake up like that every morning.
