Moving Day

On July 2nd we moved out of our apartment in Halifax. I had mixed feelings about this situation. It came so suddenly, I think is what through me off. I don't do well with quick adaptation stuff. The apartment itself was a pretty nice place.
Things I will miss:
(1) Location. I loved living downtown so much. I kind of want to live downtown for my whole life, and always be right in the action. Unfortunately Calgary doesn't have many beautiful houses downtown. All the most beautiful and most unique houses in Halifax are right in the middle of everything, and I love it.
(2) This little ledge. I really wanted to have a picnic here some day. That did not happen, but I think it's cute still.
This I won't miss:
(1) Loonie and Quarter laundry. I hate paying for laundry. It frustrates me so. At least these weren't as expensive as the ones in Vienna, and it was so so convenient that it was literally 10 feet from my front door.
(2) The hike up the stairs and the slowest elevator ever. This little meter was the sign that home was close, just one more flight of stairs. Normally the stairs really weren't too bad, except on a hot day when I was bringing home groceries that weighed as much as I do. Then I get tired of them.
(3) This is the kind of taste that the girl who shared our apartment had. The books on the shelves and the pictures on the walls and the dirty dirty way she kept the place was not very nice. I was glad to not have to share my space with her anymore.
That is just about all I have to say about this apartment really. We only lived there for two months, and they were a great two months, but I'm adjusted now to the idea of living in Wolfville and think it's actually going to be pretty great.
