Since Logan moved down to Lethbridge, and Jordan and Breanne are only with us every other Sunday afternoon, we've had a hard time rounding everyone up for a family picture. Even today, when everyone was present and expecting it, it took way too long to actually get everyone out in the backyard and set up. So these are a little dark, and you'll see that my bangs are pretty much the least photogenic thing ever, so that sucks. But here is my wonderful husband-family.
Aren't we so beautiful? My teenage sister-in-law Elizabeth always says "Ugh we just have the most beautiful family. I am in love with our family, and don't understand how anyone can live without us." While she's maybe just a little dramatic, I tend to agree. As every single person does I'm sure, I often think about my husband and just think "Oh man, I just love him. How does anyone live without Eric as a husband, I'm so lucky {slash, I worked really hard and earned every bit of it}."
So my niece and nephew are just so stinking cute that I had to use them as my muses for this week's assignment. We studied lenses and focal length last week, and I think we'll be studying aperture this week so the assignment was to shoot the subject from a list of different focal lengths on my lens. The little boy moved around too much, but the girl loved having her picture taken so the finished product uses her as the model.
Love the scrunchy goofy squinty face I get when I say Smile, and the perfection that are her candid moments.
I just love my husband-family.
