Okay, well that's not actually what it's called, but I started a photography class this weekend. It was Intro to Digital SLR Cameras, at Mount Royal University. It was a lot of fun actually. It was on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Friday night, I was a mess of nerves and anxiety. I honestly felt like I was 5, the day before I started Kindergarten. Eric just kept telling me that everything was going to be fine, and guess what, it was. Sometimes I like it when he's right and I'm wrong. I was scared I'd go in there and be so clueless, but it was perfect. I wasn't at the top of my class, as far as prior knowledge, but I wasn't at the bottom either. I learned the perfect amount of information from that class. It started exactly at my level, and planted in my mind a few concepts I've been shaky on with my online reading.
These are some of the random pictures I took in class to test the functions he was talking about. Don't worry, I will get better than this.
I start another one tonight, and I met a woman this weekend who will be in this one with me too. I'm feeling really good about this whole adventure. It will be the perfect thing for me to do, I think. I can't wait to jump in and get started.
