Goodbye Weekdays

I got a job. I actually got it like 3 days ago, but have been running around doing a bunch of calls and emails and meetings to get started with it. {it's a really long and stupid story.} But I start next Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday I have to do some career workshop training thing all day, so those days are right-offs.
Remember I told you about that insurance company that I thought I wanted to work for, but who hired someone else? Turns out, that girl decided not to take the job after all, and now it's up to me to be what they need. I don't know how the girl who decided, the day she was supposed to start working, that she didn't want to the job, and didn't going to show up interviewed better than me in the first place, but as the manager said "Things happen for a reason", so I guess it's my turn now.
I am excited that my job search is done {although, I finally received two more calls for interviews today for positions I applied for like two weeks ago and was interested it, and now it's hard to not want to keep looking. Ugh go figure.}, but now I have no more weekdays left to enjoy. They will all be dedicated to filing and faxing and answering phones and sending emails and blah blah blah {which I am actually excited to finally start doing}, and I will miss all the things I've come to enjoy during the days for the last 2.5months.
I will miss:
- seeing my niece and nephew everyday
- the peace and quiet of everyone being out of the house
- the sunshine coming through the big front windows of the house
- random visits from friends and family at the house
- lunches prepared fresh, when I want them
- sleeping in {although I haven't been able to do much of that until very recently}
- random shopping trips
- random craft projects
- flexible schedules
- seeing my husband at random times of the day
I still have my weekends though, no one can take those away from me. I will still get my Max Fix on Sundays when I play with him in Nursery, and my Verona when they're over for Sunday dinners and stuff. And everything else will just have to wait while I'm out from 830-430 {830-4 on Fridays} pursuing my dreams of being and admin assistant/receptionist and saving the world one pile of paperwork at a time!
