Happy Birthday Eric

Hello again. Eric and I have been living in our own little world lately, and I've liked it there. Going to work takes up a lot of my day, and school is just killing Eric these days. Time spent not doing those things is spent together, usually doing nothing, and it's fun. But this past weekend was just crazy. Pretty much everything that's been taking up extra time has been leading up to that weekend.
Eric's birthday was on weekend!
On Friday night we went to dinner, and then I threw a small surprise party for him at his parents' house. There were 4 couples we love there, and another who almost made it, but didn't. We miss them! It's been a long time since we've spent time with friends, and it was really nice to see some of them. I was surprised how surprised Eric was. When everyone jumped out, he actually dropped his bag and said "You guys scared the crap out of me". He enjoyed himself though, and it was fun to see him chat and have fun with all his buddies, outside of school and work! (and I don't even have a picture of all of them together. Darn.)

This is the first of several posts to come, but they are coming at you one day at a time, because it keeps us on our toes that way. I'm going to keep you waiting, because this is as much time as I can get together in one block. (Slowly but surely) I will get all caught up on what has happened lately. Someday. But I'm not really in the mood to miss the today moments, catching up on the last month (couple weeks) moments. That's the very tricky thing about journals and blogs. Darn. Better luck next time!
