Leaving Phoenix

Today was leaving day already. It was harder than I even thought it would be to leave everyone behind for another couple of weeks, just to get back to work. Sad thing: the pool heater ended up being broken the whole time we were there, and fixed the day after we left. Atwoods pool wasn't turned on, so we didn't get to enjoy that one either.
Tonight Logan dropped us off at the airport about 2 hours before our flight was scheduled to leave. We went to check in and were told that it was delayed, by more than two hours. We could wait here in the airport, or.....we called Logan, and he came back and got us. He brought us back to Atwoods, and they turned on the pool just so we could get in for a few minutes. I just really wanted to be in the pool while we were there!
We got in our short swim, as well as some snacks and a few extra minutes spent with family. It was a nice surprise for the end of the trip. I'm really going to miss this place.
