Some call it luck

When it comes to situations left completely to luck I never fair well, but I have so many good things to be thankful for. I believe that I have worked hard for many of the things that I have and that, when I've asked, my Heavenly Father has stepped in and brought me the rest of the way.
Some call it luck, I call it blessed. I am so blessed to have a loving husband. We are so blessed to have a beautiful daughter. We as a family are so blessed to enjoy so many comforts and tender mercies from the Lord.
I think it would be discouraging and sometimes sad to live in this world believing only in luck, chance, fate, and consequence. To me it would make the great things seem short-lived, and the back things seem unfair. I know where things come from, and I know why things happen. I am grateful for that knowledge, and grateful for my blessings.
I am blessed to have a daughter - I do think I just got lucky with how beautiful she is though! and really really lucky she's not big enough yet to walk out on me when I do things like this to her (I mean with her).
