Sunday evening Cecelia met two of my dad's sisters, and a really great neighbour friend from when we first moved to Nova Scotia. We had a great time visiting with them and catching up.
Monday was spent with Alyssa before she went home. We mostly just wondered around the house while Cecelia fed and pooped more than she ever has in a day I think. Finally when she fell asleep for her afternoon nap, we ventured out to Dartmouth Crossing and to a jewellery and accessories store where we found some really sweet $2 and $4 deals.
On Tuesday one of my favourite reasons for coming home came over for another visit. We spent a little more time visiting with Alyssa before she drove away from us, and then we went and picked up some fabric and my mom taught Megan how to sew some scarves. Another pleasant afternoon spent visiting and catching up.
Wednesday was a me and Cecelia day. We dropped my mom at school in the afternoon and took a couple of hours to explore downtown a little bit. We went to the mall to get a couple of things I needed, then said hello to Papa at work. We found a cute little spot for lunch. I had a declisious apply chicken curry wrap, and saved half for lunch the next day. The girl was so sweet, made great recommendations, and sent me home with a free cookie at the end of the day. The tricky part was that there was no change table and I had to sit on the toilet and lay Cecelia on my lap and change her there. It was a gong show, but she ate and I ate and we left feeling much better. We took a walk up to my favourite little shop in Halifax - I just have to go there every time I'm home. We went and got Granny from school and came home for a relaxed evening that Cecelia needed.
