Weekend Photo Dump

I had a CT scan done at the hospital, and so far the worst of it is the rash this band aid left after the IV.

Cecelia's nails have started to grow long and sharp and fast. Daddy has to do this about once a week now, to keep her from scratching the daylights out of her head.

Cecelia has started bringing things to her mouth the explore them there.

We tried Cecelia out in her Bumbo this week, and she loved it...for a few minutes. Then her head started to droop and sag, and it was like "Mom, I'm so tired. I can't handle another moment in here."

With a couple of gorgeous hot and sunny days came the search through baskets of clothes we have for her to see if any of the bigger summery clothes would finally fit her yet. They do.

Our employees needed some time off this weekend, so we got to clean the office. Cecelia and I went and helped Dad out. She spent a few minutes in a wrap carrier, and the rest in the strollers asleep.

I bought the first book I've ever bought for Cecelia today. She played with it in the cart the whole time I shopped at Costco. The colours are amazing in this one. I love it.

Went to the CBC Calgary Reads Used Book Sale with my in-laws and my father-in-law parked my car for me because I am the worst at parallel parking. He was so kind to park my car for me, and then have to drive about a mile to find parking for his own van.

Last year Eric and I went to the book sale together and I spent just a few minutes looking at kids books "just because". Cecelia was already growing at that point, and this time I spent most of my time there, looking forward to this time next year when she will actually be reading the books.

My favourite thing she's learned to hold is hands.
