Yard Sales

I love garage and yard sales. They are by far one of my favourite parts about summer. Today the rain held off just long enough for us to enjoy a couple this morning. I found this chair at the fist one, and then spent the rest of the day dreaming and thinking about it. My husband said no - he thinks (and is 100% right) that I have too many projects on the go already. I just could not give it up though, and told him I promised to get rid of some other things and to really make this one count - and that's really not an empty promise either. I know I need to do those things. Anyway, I went back to the sale and caught them just as they were packing everything up. Another chair that was covered in the same fabric as this one, but a different shape, was taken but this one was not. They loaded it up in my car for me and sent me home with it - for free. I am really excited now! My yard saling is just about considered successful for the year now.
Besides that great find, it was really nice to just relax with my favourites today. We spent most of the day around the in-law's place visiting with them and with Eric's grandma, then came home and enjoyed a quiet evening watching a movie. I love the weekends. I love having my husband home with us, and Cecelia does too. It was a good day.
