You are our hero

I love my husband, and I love him more and more each day that I get to be a parent with him. We are so much enjoying having a little girl. She has brought such a tranquility, tenderness and sweetness to our home that no other thing could have. She has brought those things to Eric. He has always been kind and sweet and loving to me, but Cecelia has brought a gentleness and purity and carefulness to him that I adore beyond what I ever could have imagined. He cares more for this little soul more than I ever would have thought possible. He has really become a greater man with this opportunity for fatherhood. Someone wrote in a card for us when we had Cecelia "I believe that we don't feel all we're meant to feel until we have children" (or something close to that) and I honestly believe that Eric was not all the man he was meant to be until he became a father. He reminds me in so many important ways of my own father, and they are both so wonderful. Cecelia and I are beyond grateful to have them in our lives.
