5 Months Old

Yet another month has passed, and I suppose they will continue to do. I can't believe my baby girl is getting so big. She continue to learn and grow at a pace that I can barely keep up with. Every day is a new day with her.
She is doing great figuring out her own body. She does really well with her hand now and can handle her soother and toys quite well. She found her toes this past week and does not stop reaching for them - and of course putting them in her mouth. Her tongue is still always present and seems to be even more aggressive lately than ever before. I think she's actually learning (more like being taught by Dad) to stick it out intentionally. When she gets really excited or is making a face at someone, her tongue sticks right out.
She is such a happy baby and continues to be such a joy to our home and family.

 Her hair is really starting to find its own shade of red - just like her mom and dad's

I'm really having a blast watching her progress through these monthly photos. In the first months she was a floppy expressionless baby (adorable none the less), then moved into smiles, and now she almost sits up on her own and she barely kept this sign out of her hands and mouth long enough for pictures. It won't be long before she's holding it for me and posing like a little ham.
