A little more of our Dad

The last couple of days have been unique in a wonderful way. Yesterday morning Eric had his module 2 exam and so he got the afternoon off. We spent it together, the three of us, and then spent the evening on a date. Today he was helping out with something at the Stampede and got stuck on the night shift. He has to work from 5:30 til after midnight, but that means he got the day off with us. We got to sleep in together and spend time at the lake.
Today Cecelia got her first taste of food that didn't come from me. Eric doesn't get to be around for very many firsts, but he was around for this one. When the popsicles came out at the lake they joked about feeding them to Cecelia and I said that from here on in if anyone wants to feed Cecelia some food I just need to be there to take pictures. Today was that day, and Dad got to be there for it. He fed her the popsicle, and I took the pictures. Dad was also around for one of my firsts. He was there to convince me to go in the lake. I've been to this lake plenty of times, but today was the first time I actually got in and swam. Eric convinced me to, and the water was a little less cold than normal. It was so nice and refreshing. It was a really nice couple of days spent with Dad. We love having Dad around.
