Cardston Memories

Cecelia loved Uncle Vaughn. He has started to kind of mimic the word hi, and when uncle Vaughn waved at her for the firs time, she just waved and smiled and say hi over and over to him. Just about each time he walked in to the room she'd smile, and she always had waves for him when he waved to her.
I finally - on the last day of our last trip - found a spot where Cecelia enjoyed sitting on her own while I did other things like eating and helping around the house.
I took Cecelia to the temple for the firs time. I really wanted to get over there on the last trip when Eric was with us, but it just didn't happen unfortunately. I showed her the temple and told her that mommy and daddy were married there.
Some of the best (and worst) parts about these trips is spending all day with the kids together in one house. The things that come out of their mouths are precious. A couple of my favourites:
While Verona and Araya are sitting at the table playing nicely together with sand, out of the blue I hear,
Araya "I wish Eric was here."
Verona "Me too."
Araya "Eric and I are twins, you know why?"
Verona "Why"
Araya "Because we both love butter. If Eric was here we would put butter on our food together."
While Verona and Araya have locked themselves in the bathroom and Max is banging on the door wanted to play with them we hear,
Max "I am going to punch you in your face. So many times."
