Celebrated the holidays with a baby in tow is a whole lot of fun. I've always been one to enjoy and embrace holiday celebrations and traditions, and now that I have my own little family I am even more of a special occasion enthusiast!
Christmas is of course one that I have been very excited for. I really enjoyed Halloween - because the best part about that holiday is always the little ones in costume - but I have been looking forward to this one for a long time. Another thing I love about Christmas is all the photo opportunities. The lights and the snow are just irresistible, along with all the gatherings of family and friends.
Admittedly this is going to be one of the weirder Christmases we've shared as a family, and some of the traditions I would love to create for us will not be possible this year, but I am excited all the same. It's a good thing that of all her Christmases, Cecelia will in no way remember this one.
Here's a lovely holiday photoshoot to start off the season, from the day we put up Cecelia's first Christmas tree. (PS I'm glad she's not crawling. She does enjoy being held close to the lights though, and touching the branches.)
