Today was the day. The day we've all been waiting for, and the day that I stayed here for. As you well know, Haig went through the temple today. It was such a nice and peaceful day spent with family. Today and yesterday were the perfect last two days.
The temple session was lovely, as always, and the it was so nice to see all who came out to support Haig on this first big step toward leaving in September. Haig is good friends with a guy in our ward who was away for work, but his wife Celeste was there and she gave me the name of one of her relatives to do today. It's always nice to do work in the temple for someone who I can connect to in some way.
I think that Haig really felt the spirit today and recognized the blessings and opportunities that came with what he did in the temple today. I think he really felt the love and support and faith of all who came to be with him today. It was a lovely experience, and I'm glad I was able to be a part of it.The temple today really made me think of the importance of families. I am grateful for my family and all I've been taught by them. I am grateful for you, and the new family you've brought to me. I'm grateful for the family that you and I will someday have together.
