I love playing board games. It's probably my very favourite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon. (Settlers of Catan happens to be a favourite as well.) Even more than playing games, I love winning games. Playing this lame two player game of Catan with Eric this afternoon cheered me right up after a rough morning (although by the time he got home I was relaxed and relieved enough). It was just really fun to sit and play with just him.
If I were to suggest either way though, I'd say don't play Catan with only two players. It's a bit of a joke. It got to a point (pretty early on) where it wasn't even fun to beat him anymore. It was sad. I was sad almost every move I made because it was so pathetic. It felt kind of good to win, but I felt like a jerk for doing it.

Eric is a good person to play with though. Good thing he's not a sore loser, because this could be have been a rough game to lose. It was hard to win!
How did we not ever discuss that this was your favorite board game? It is mine too! Except it is not fun for me to play at my house because my little brother wins. Every time. The only time I beat him was the night before I went on my mission. I think God was blessing me.
